Clearance Required: TS Clearance is required.
Candidate will provide senior level expertise to design, plan and provision network environments, maintain current architecture, support existing customers, capacity planning and escalations support. The candidate shall analyze the current environment and provide proficient security solutions and best in class firewall/IPS/IDS/ solutions that align to meet the enterprise’s requirements. The candidate shall perform analyses of network security requirements and contribute to the design, integration, and installation of firewall hardware and software. The candidate shall develop, and document infrastructure support requirements as required by the Government and, monitor trends and recommend future firewall architecture strategies and roadmaps. The candidate shall provide support for modifying firewall rule sets, troubleshooting, analyzing network traffic flows and application lockdown in an enterprise environment. The candidate shall assist with the planning, design, implementation, securing and monitoring of firewalls in a broad network infrastructure across multiple locations with a variety of missions. Document all configuration changes as well as software/hardware versions using Visio and the appropriate office documentation processes. This role may be subject to non-standard work hours and after hours support not to exceed five hour per week. The method of communication will be a phone from the government.
Qualified Candidate:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- BA/BS in Engineering or IT related discipline
- 8140/8570 IAT Level II
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer- PCNSE
- Juniper Networks Security Professional- JNCIP-SEC
