Basic Purpose
To conceive visual design solutions to complex product initiatives through composition, typography and interaction models, keep deliverables engaging and on-brand, and drive cross-channel projects. Works on moderately complex projects with minimal risk. Participates in the creation and evolution of visual experience design strategy. Works independently with direct guidance and direction from higher-level staff and management.

- Create prototypes for testing to ensure design meets business and user objectives– Moderately Complex/Varied
- Act as subject matter expert for design inspiration

- Remain abreast of emerging technologies, and industry best practices and trends

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, User-Centered Design/Human-Computer Interaction, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Familiarity with UX design principles and ability to apply them
- Familiarity with design fundamentals, such as color theory, typography and composition
- Knowledge of interaction design, visual design, and industry standards
- Knowledge of user-centered design processes and best practices
- Knowledge of modern development standards, techniques and methodologies (e.g., HTML, XHTML, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, etc.)
- Effective detail and organizational skills
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies to usability and design challenges
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Exposure to managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals
- Exposure to performing analysis of business processes and functions
- Familiarity with project management including establishing and leading project teams; managing timelines/deadlines/resources; ensuring successful project implementation
