Primary Responsibilities:

  • Research, write, and organize all aspects of federal government proposal responses.
  • Analyze government RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs, identifying key requirements and contributing to win strategies.
  • Prepare compelling and persuasive narratives to convey our solution and strategy.
  • Coordinate and work closely with technical and management personnel to develop proposal strategies and plans.
  • Support the development of storyboards and mock-ups.
  • Contribute to the development and review of proposal strategies and themes.
  • Maintain quality by ensuring compliance with editorial standards and RFP instructions.
  • Support the final development of proposals, including production, packaging, and delivery.
  • Actively support our client's business development initiatives
  • Responsible for creating and delivering a pipeline of opportunities for all our client's capabilities and technology areas.
  • Identify, vet, and track federal government opportunities to position for successful bids.
  • Build and maintain client and partner relationships and leverage those relationships to secure new business.
  • Navigate government agencies to identify decision makers and determine buying processes.
  • Create an account plans and call plans.
  • Represent our client's capabilities at industry and government meetings and conferences and provide feedback on markets and opportunities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 6 years of experience in writing, editing, and strong understanding of the government contracts & procurement process. Relevant federal market experience in business development.
  • Good understanding of IT services and solutions
  • Ability to interpret solicitation requirements and prepare responses accordingly.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple proposals and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Adobe illustrator for creating & editing images.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Experience in Federal Government Proposals is preferred.
  • Ability to identify key growth areas and develop new business aligned with our client's growth strategy.
