The selected candidate will join a small, talented, highly effective performing team providing exploitation tools at the speed of need supporting the unique challenges faced in global cyber investigations and operations and seeking a skilled mid-level developer with previous experience developing sophisticated cyber threat discovery, collection, analytical, exploitation, and pursuit tools.

    Brief Description of the Work:

    We are seeking a software engineer/developer capable of developing cyber investigation exploitation tools at the speed of need. The successful candidate shall be a skilled problem solver with a talent for developing tools using open-source frameworks to support cyber investigations.

    Required Skills:

    • Proficiency in two or more relevant programming languages: C, C++, Java, assembly, Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash, Node.js, Spark, Puppet, SALT, KAFKA, or HADOOP.
    • Knowledge of x86/64, ARM, and MIPS instruction sets and architectures.
    • Understanding exploit development techniques such as arbitrary code execution, privilege execution, obfuscation techniques, etc.
    • Experience with cross-compile tools across architectures.
    • Skilled at simulation/model development and prototyping.
    • Familiarity with disassemblers/decompilers such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, Radare, or Binary Ninja.
    • Proficiency with software debuggers such as WinDbg, OllyDbg, GDB, KGDB, NTSD, IDA Debugger, or similar.

    Desired Skills:

    • Proficiency in three or more of the programming/scripting languages listed under required skills.
    • Certifications such as SANS GXPN, GPYC, GCWN, Offensive Security OSEE, OSCE, OSWE, or other similar technical certifications.
