Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Power BI Developer with strong user interface design and development skills to join and grow with our team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ability to extract requirements from stakeholders and recommend reporting solutions, including report design and visuals
Excellent analytical skills
Responsible for the development and deployment of their reporting and dashboard technologies
Be an ambassador for IT, partnering across the organization and building strong relationships
Stay abreast of current and emerging technologies
Partner with key stakeholders to provide high-impact business solutions
Ensure appropriate documentation is created and maintained
Required Skills:
6+ years of experience working with Frontend development, Microsoft Power BI and administration with experience developing Front-end visualizations in Python and Power BI
BS/MS in Computer Science, Information System, Analytics, or related field
Experience in R/Python scripting is required
Develop technical specifications and documentation
Financial industry experience nice to have but not required. There are some expectations to mentor and get up to speed with domain knowledge
Must have experience successfully delivering software projects into production
Develop interactive visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Microsoft Power BI desktop
Develop custom visuals, charts, and measures as per requirements
Understand business requirements in BI context and design efficient data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights
Responsible for design methodology and project documentation
Experience with Python (preferred)
Good interpersonal/communication skills
